I am working with a fantasticengineering consultancywho are looking to recruit a senior MechanicalEngineer to lead and develop new and existingprojects throughoutthe North West of England

Role Overview:

  • Lead and manage large or multiple smaller projects (both new and existing sites).
  • Ensure safety, health, and environmental (HSE) standards, as well as client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure designs and constructions meet time, cost, and quality goals.
  • Handle all mechanical aspects, including machinery, vessels, and packages. This includes writing technical specs, reviewing vendor quotes, designing, surveying sites, and estimating costs.
  • Ensure all work complies with contract requirements.
  • Involve in project phases like Concept, FEED, EPC, and offer consultancy and proposal support.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong practical application of technical knowledge.
  • Extensive experience in engineering and contracting for both large and small projects.
  • Confident working independently or in a team.
  • Experience leading teams of engineers and designers.
  • Engineering degree and Chartered Membership of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with frequent client and partner interaction.
Desirable Skills:
  • Hands-on experience in fabrication, construction, or commissioning.
  • Experience in Process Plants, Hydrogen, Chemicals, Biotech, and Emerging sectors.
  • Design Management experience.
