Job Opportunity

Joining our team as a Senior Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for calibrating measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to both ISO9001 and UKAS standards. These include but are not limited to Micrometres, Callipers, Height Gauges, Torque Wrenches, and Gauge Blocks. You will be expected to manage the maintenance of Calibration Certification records and traceability as well as oversee that the mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented. A successful candidate will be expected to lead the Calibration of specialist products, assist in the development and improvement of Calibration procedures and participate in external/internal audits as required.

Essential Skills

  • Technical qualification such as degree, HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC
  • Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO9001
  • Holds UKAS signatory status
  • Extensive knowledge of calibration practices and theories
  • Able to coach and guide team members
