Finance Manager

Salary:  £30K - £35K

Stockport

Our client a Stockport-based company, is in search of a Finance Manager. A well-established business, who pride themselves on building long-lasting relationships within their sector. In the role of Finance Manager, you will assume sole responsibility for overseeing all accounting procedures within the business.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing and maintain the Purchase and Sales Ledger
  • Input supplier invoices onto Sage
  • Entering purchase orders onto sales invoices and email out
  • Monthly pay run
  • Report year-end figures
  • Month end journals
  • Profit & Loss accounts, produce P & L balance sheet
  • Chase overdue debt
  • File all expenses
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Cash flow updating and producing
  • VAT Returns
  • Enter new accounts onto Sage
  • Payroll (approx. 25 staff)
  • Record holidays onto holiday sheets
  • Other ad-hoc duties to support the Managing Director and Office

Experience Required:

Experience working as a bookkeeper/account’s manager/finance manager

Qualified by experience or formal qualification with both be considered
