RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic SME in Stockport who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the Finance Director with company growth. You will join a small team of 4 people and report back to the Financial Director on a daily basis. This is a hands on role which with a fantastic development opportunity for progression and a clear promotional path.

The Role

  • Oversee and manage a small finance team
  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Monthly Profit & Loss
  • VAT Returns
  • Supporting and overseeing a small transactional team
  • Supporting projects, company growth and process improvements
  • Assisting with year end and audit preparations

The Person

  • CIMA/ACCA part qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification
  • At least 2+ years experience working as a Management Accountant
  • Experienced in managing or supervising a small team
  • Experience with an accounts management role
  • Strong IT skills including accounting software and MS Excel
  • Experience using bespoke systems will be an advantage
