RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic SME in Stockport who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the Finance Director with company growth. You will join a small team of 4 people and report back to the Financial Director on a daily basis. This is a hands on role which with a fantastic development opportunity for progression and a clear promotional path.

The Role
- Oversee and manage a small finance team
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Monthly Profit & Loss
- VAT Returns
- Supporting and overseeing a small transactional team
- Supporting projects, company growth and process improvements
- Assisting with year end and audit preparations
The Person
- CIMA/ACCA part qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification
- At least 2+ years experience working as a Management Accountant
- Experienced in managing or supervising a small team
- Experience with an accounts management role
- Strong IT skills including accounting software and MS Excel
- Experience using bespoke systems will be an advantage
