As a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting all M&A matters from deal origination to execution and completion. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research to identify potential M&A opportunities, evaluating target companies' financial performance, market position, and strategic fit. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised in initiating and maintaining relationships with potential targets as well as developing rapport with diligence advisors, accountancy firms, investment banks and corporate finance houses. You will manage the administration of M&A deals while also updating management on deal progress. Your ability to present complex financial information in a clear manner will be crucial in this role.

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential UK M&A opportunities.
  • Evaluate target companies' financial performance, market position, and strategic fit with our client's objectives.
  • Initiate and maintain communication with potential targets.
  • Develop a working rapport with diligence advisors, accountancy firms, investment banks and corporate finance houses.
  • Manage the administration of M&A deals, including preparing presentations, organising virtual data rooms, and coordinating projects.
  • Update management confidently and succinctly on deal progress.
  • Present complex financial information and deal structures in a clear manner to stakeholders at various levels.
