Paraplanner, Manchester, Salary up to £42,000 Death in service   Fully funded staff events Paraplanner salary up to £42,000 Manchester based Hybrid working (2 days in the office) 25 days holiday + an additional day for on your birthday Pension Private Medical Insurance Xmas office closure Long term service enhancements   We are representing a credible Firm of Independent Financial Planners who have a large presence throughout the North West region. The successful candidate will be working alongside an experienced team of Paraplanners to create bespoke Technical Suitability reports to their extensive Client base. You will be working closely with our Financial Planners and the competent production of suitability reports. Our Client also offer the opportunity to work closely with Senior individuals within the business as well as having the opportunity to attend Client meetings.     Duties Responsibilities
  • Identify areas for planning.
  • Discuss and establish client objectives with the Adviser.
  • Confirm client’s risk profile.
  • Undertake research both independently and with the Financial Adviser to identify suitable solutions to meet the client’s needs.
  • Prepare information/comparisons for analysis and further discussion with the Adviser.
  • Liaise with the client’s legal and tax advisers if necessary.
  • Consider current and future allocation of assets for investment strategy with regard to client’s risk profile and their objectives.
  • Prepare draft recommendation reports to be discussed/signed off by the Financial Adviser.
  • Provide technical support and qualified knowledge to Financial Advisers, Client Services teams and other members of staff where required.
  • Maintain up to date industry knowledge and awareness by attending company-wide training days and local Training & Competency meetings.
  • Keep up to date with existing products and new products entering the market.
