They are currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join a growing team. Role Overview:As a Paraplanner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial advisers with research, report preparation, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

You will assist in creating and maintaining financial plans, preparing recommendations, and providing technical support. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong technical knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

A strong knowledge of Pensions and investments is crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of investment funds and financial products.
  • Prepare cashflow projections using CashCalc.
  • Investigate financial products to align with clients' specific needs and objectives.
  • Draft and compile suitability reports for clients.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of pensions,
  • investments, trusts, and estate planning strategies.
  • Prepare and review client Annual Reviews and associated reports.
  • Generate quotations upon request using platforms such as Aviva, M&G Wealth, The Exchange, and other provider websites.
  • Possess strong working knowledge of key software systems, including Intelligent Office, Genovo, FE Analytics, and CashCalc, as well as major providers like Aviva, M&G Wealth, Standard Life, and AJ Bell.
  • Ensure all correspondence is addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, product providers, and Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs).
  • Provide support to other administrators and consultants as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent (or working towards).
  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar financial planning support role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial products and services, including pensions, investments, tax, and protection.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using financial planning software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of current industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Desirable Skills:

  • Working knowledge of financial planning software (e.g., Voyant, CashCalc, or similar).
  • Progress towards advanced qualifications (e.g., Chartered Financial Planner status).
  • Experience with preparing suitability reports and client-facing documentation.
