Our client is an established printing company in Stockport, known for delivering high-quality printed products across various sectors. With expertise in both digital and traditional printing, they focus on exceptional service, innovative solutions, and maintaining the highest standards. Due to growth, they are now seeking a Print Finisher to join their team.

You will work on the double day shift, Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 2pm / 2pm - 9:30pm Some flexibility is required as overtime is regularly available.

The Role

  • Produce work to the highest standards, obtaining maximum output and ensuring procedures and pass sheets are always followed
  • To communicate with the finishing manager in a timely manner
  • Liaise with fellow operators for handovers / any arising issues
  • Always keeping a clean and tidy workspace
  • Completion of any relevant worksheets and accurate recording of KPI's
  • To gain an understanding of the Management Information Systems and use them accurately to report back to the planning department.

The Person

  • Experience operating print finishing equipment (Polar Guillotine, Muller-Martini stitchers, MBO Folders, Autobond Laminators, Heidelberg Cylinders)
  • Has the ability to manage expectations around timescales and deliverables
  • Can work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Has a proactive approach to work
  • Can communicate effectively and build rapport with all departments.

 

Salary and Benefits
A generous base salary of up to £28,000 is available for this role and is dependant on experience. Overtime is regularly available and is paid at an enhanced rate. Genuine progression opportunities, ongoing training and support and more!
