Eden Brown Charities is delighted to be partnering with a leading national Charity to recruit them a Deputy Head of Fundraising to lead a regionally dispersed team in the North of England ( North West and Yorkshire)

About the role

As Deputy Head of fundraising, you will work closely with the Head of Fundraising to deliver the fundraising strategy in the North of England whilst maximising fundraising opportunities across the Charity. You will provide excellent stewardship and develop new innovative ideas to build the long term supporter base.

You will manage a team of Community Fundraisers to ensure that they are working towards and achieving their fundraising goals for this incredible Charity who ensure that everyone has appropriate support at the end of their lives. You will do this by leading and motivating the team and working cross organisationally with the Mass Participation, Special Events and Legacy/ In Mem to deliver a programme of sector leading events.

About You

You will have experience of working as a fundraiser and preferably leading a geographically dispersed team with demonstratable experience in strategy, planning and growing charitable income significantly. You will have excellent relationship building skills as well as experience in developing and delivering operational plans. Experience in managing volunteers is also desirable.

You must have a driving licence and access to a car. Please note that this is a hybrid role with a mixture of home working, work across the region and work in one of the Charitie's offices based in Bradford, Stockport or Liverpool.
