About the Role:

We are looking to recruit a Global Head of Sales to be you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales plan to accelerate growth, strengthen customer relationships, and maximise revenue worldwide.

We are looking for a forward thinking, dynamic, passionate individual who can bring enthusiasm and drive to grow our Sales remit. If you have great experience in a technical sales environment, are willing to travel globally to support the next stage of our business development, can contribute to our strategic growth and work as part of our great team with an innovative product then we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the current business portfolio of distributors and customers.
  • To establish, develop and generate new business within a specified list of global distributors, to ensure targeted growth within the region of 20% pa.
  • Grow the sales function identifying areas for additional resource and build a strong team.
  • Establish, develop and maintain successful relationships at all levels, from Board to Field Sales to develop new business opportunities.
  • Generation of new sales opportunities from current and new customers using targeted prospecting, leads from tradeshows, events, campaigns.
  • Identify and develop new potential distributors.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in leading a business salesforce in a similar role, in the process manufacturing industry.
  • Proven leadership, coaching and motivational skills.
  • Experience in expansion and resourcing in line with growth.
  • Proven ability to independently manage challenging situations with customers, suppliers and employees.
  • Experience and knowledge of end user and distributor selling, developing end users to specify products via a distributor and targeted sales growth, developed from specific accounts.
  • Proactive approach and able make decisions and to take appropriate actions, in line with agreed policy and objectives.
  • High level organisational and time management skills and the ability to pragmatically assess and manage priorities.
  • The ability to assess customer demand commercially, alongside cost implications and to negotiate skilfully, and confidently.
  • Good financial acumen.
