We are seeking a skilled NDT Technician to perform tests and inspecting products at various stages of the production process. The role focuses on non-destructive testing to ensure the quality and integrity of materials and products. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Manager to maintain high standards.

This position would suit a detail-oriented professional with experience in non-destructive testing within manufacturing or engineering environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various non-destructive tests such as Radiography Testing, Visual Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing and Liquid Penetrant Testing (RT, VT, MT, PT) on materials and products to assess quality.
- Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment and ensure its correct operation.
- Review part prints, procedures, and work instructions to complete testing accurately.
- Document reports and implement corrective and preventative actions as needed.
- Coordinate with the Quality Manager to address quality issues and ensure compliance with company processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an NDT / NDE role
- PCN Level 2 in VT, MT, RT and/or PT
- Ability to interpret specifications & engineering drawings
- Ability to use Quality instruments; weld gauges, micrometers, steel ruler, etc.
Location: Stockport
Contract: 3 months (with extension available)
Full Time, (Apply online only) (Mon-Thurs), (Apply online only) (Fri)
Pay Rate:
- 23 - 26 per hour PAYE
- 29 - 33 per hour Umbrella
