We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established Stockport-based business looking to appoint an Order Processing Executive to join their customer care and design team. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone with experience in order processing, planning / scheduling or data entry. A background within textiles, fashion, marketing collateral or similar environments that involve personalisation/customisation of customer orders would be ideal.

Working as part of a close-knit team, your role will focus on managing customer orders, ensuring all designs are correctly set up and accurately processed using internal systems. From liaising with suppliers to preparing samples and maintaining system records, you’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional service to customers and ensuring high levels of accuracy across every stage of the process.

Job Description:

  • Receive and review new design specifications from customers
  • Set up customised orders and customer requirements on internal systems
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to manage sample production
  • Prepare and dispatch samples to customers and update records accordingly
  • Ensure approved designs are recorded correctly and product codes are set up accurately
  • Maintain accurate design information and update internal plans
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners
  • Provide general administrative and planning support where required

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in order processing, planning or customer service (essential)
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient IT skills including Excel and/or Google Sheets (essential)
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and working to tight schedules
  • Clear communicator with first class customer service skills
  • Exposure to fashion, textiles, print, or marketing product environments (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Wilcom Embroidery Studio (desirable but not essential)
