SME Account Handler Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Maintain professionalism and build rapport with clients and insurers to make them feel valued.
- Account Management: Look after new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, claims, and queries.
- Impeccable Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to FCA regulations and company procedures.
- Customer Service: Achieve high standards of customer care and build strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Team Support: Assist the Account Executive where applicable and contribute to team goals.
Our Ideal SME Account Handler:
- Hold a good working knowledge of SME Commercial insurance products.
- Proven experience as an Account Handler in a similar broking environment.
- Confident with delivering high level standards of FCA compliance.
- Meticulous in managing documentation and processes.
- A confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in insurance IT systems (e.g., Acturis, Open GI) and Microsoft software.
- Willingness to work towards Cert CII qualifications and continuous development.
