We’re seeking a professional and motivated SME Account Handler to join our client’s dedicated and tightknit team based in South Manchester! In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in providing exceptional service for clients while navigating the complexities of the insurance landscape!

SME Account Handler Responsibilities:

Relationship Building: Maintain professionalism and build rapport with clients and insurers to make them feel valued.
Account Management: Look after new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, claims, and queries.
Impeccable Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to FCA regulations and company procedures.
Customer Service: Achieve high standards of customer care and build strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
Team Support: Assist the Account Executive where applicable and contribute to team goals.

Our Ideal SME Account Handler:

Hold a good working knowledge of SME Commercial insurance products.
Proven experience as an Account Handler in a similar broking environment.
Confident with delivering high level standards of FCA compliance.
Meticulous in managing documentation and processes.
A confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
Proficient in insurance IT systems (e.g., Acturis, Open GI) and Microsoft software.
Willingness to work towards Cert CII qualifications and continuous development.
