Warehouse Operative
Location: Poynton, StockportÂ
Salary: £11.84 per hour (increasing after 6 months training)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:00
Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a leading UK steel stockholder based in Stockport, is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering a stable, long-term role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual handling of steel products
- Loading
- Operating an overhead gantry crane
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
- Working efficiently to meet targets and deadlines
Key Requirements:
- Strong background in manual labour or warehouse work
- FLT Counterbalance licence preferredÂ
- Experience operating a gantry crane is an advantage but not essential
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
