Works Delivery Coordinator

Contract Length: 6 months contract initially
Location: Stockport
Pay Rate: Day rate 175 - 275 (depending on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated Works Delivery Coordinator to support our Works Delivery Manager(s) and team in achieving business objectives and key performance indicators.

The Role

  • Assist in developing work plans to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards.
  • Identify and implement initiatives focused on safety, asset performance, reliability, productivity, and efficiency improvements.
  • Review project remits and specifications for deliverability.
  • Support the execution of maintenance and project work according to established standards.
  • Manage and coordinate work, including resource specifications, method statements, and planning.
  • Ensure delivery of work in alignment with the agreed programme.
  • Provide timely updates to systems, databases, and records.
  • Participate in staff surveillance, work quality checks, and asset condition assessments.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating projects, worksites, and resources.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant standards and procedures.
  • Familiarity with various functional disciplines.
  • Understanding of the operational railway environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering and building construction principles.
  • Educated to Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with quality, environmental, commercial, and financial procedures.
