You will be heading up the IPS Employment Service, which has recently doubled in size due to contract expansion. As a result, the team will need plenty of extra support and development, so you can truly make this role your own.It’s an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up from a Team Leader to a Manager role. It’s also a great chance if you are currently leading Restart or Work & Health and would like to learn a different employability model, which takes a clinical approach.The contracts are in partnership with the NHS, supporting individuals with mental health needs to return to work. These are voluntary programmes (so no mandated customers), with referrals coming through community mental health teams. In terms of front-line delivery, the advisors work with small caseloads of 20, providing a specialised support service in partnership with clinical teams. You will manage five Team Leaders, each with around ten reports. You will also manage a Quality Lead.Typical day-to-day tasks include:
  • Supporting and coaching your Team Leaders
  • Overseeing all the dashboard reports to spot progress, trends, and areas for key action
  • Creating and building processes for the contract
  • Delivering staff training
  • Preparing for fidelity reviews
