My client, a Market Leading Manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled General Manager to join their Team.
This is an excellent opportunity offering progressive development within a close-knit manufacturing team.
Role Description
- Reporting directly to the Components Production Director you will be responsible for the day to day running and efficient manufacturing, assembly, stocking and quality of all component parts associated within the company's portfolio of products
- You will have direct management of staff across all functions within production (Injection Moulding, mould tooling process)
- Oversee and create scheduled plans for the efficient running of all departments within the Components Division
- Ensure production targets and objectives are achieved
- Utilise our internal stocking system for production planning / scheduling throughout all departments
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Understanding of the Injection moulding process and Mould tooling
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
