We are seeking a dedicated and passionate IT Teacher to join our team at a thriving school in Reddish. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, where you will be responsible for teaching IT across various key stages. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students in the dynamic field of Information Technology, fostering both practical skills and a deeper understanding of the subject.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality IT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Support students' development in IT skills, including coding, digital literacy, and IT theory.
  • Prepare engaging and innovative lesson plans that meet the curriculum requirements.
  • Encourage students' enthusiasm and curiosity for the subject.
  • Provide feedback and support to help students achieve their potential.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy and foster a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching IT or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge in IT, including up-to-date awareness of modern technology trends.
  • Ability to create an inclusive classroom where all students can thrive.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
