About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Stockport. This role is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of Early Years education, a nurturing approach, and a commitment to supporting young children's learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning activities.
Support childrens social, emotional, and cognitive development in line with the EYFS framework.
Provide targeted support to children with additional needs, ensuring all pupils reach their full potential.
Help create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
Work closely with parents, teachers, and SENCOs to support individual learning plans.
Requirements:
Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience in an EYFS setting with a strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum.
A positive, proactive, and child-centred approach to supporting learning.
Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within a classroom setting.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
