Our client is seeking a People Operations Manager to lead their UK team, ensuring the delivery of an intuitive and seamless service to employees. This role offers a competitive salary range of £45K - £55K and the opportunity to work in a hybrid model with only two days per week required in the Stockport office. What you'll do:

As a People Operations Manager, you will be at the forefront of leading a dedicated team, ensuring they deliver an exceptional service to employees. You will handle all transactional HR administration requests that come through our HR ticket system across the employee life-cycle. Your role will also involve identifying opportunities for process improvement by leveraging automation, generative AI, and digitisation capabilities. You will be responsible for managing relationships with third-party providers and analysing people data to drive decision making. Your strong organisational skills will be crucial in supporting the HR and People team with various projects.

  • Lead and support the People Operations team ensuring efficient handling of HR administration requests
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance employee servicing journeys
  • Manage relationships with third-party pre-employment checks provider
  • Analyse people data to drive decision making and provide valuable insights
  • Support the HR and People team with ad-hoc work and projects linked to People plan deliverables
  • Act as Risk Champion for the People team, supporting with audit requests

You have proven experience in managing teams effectively, coupled with a deep understanding of HR systems.
