I am excited to be partnering exclusively with a client of mine located in Stockport, in their search for a Senior HR Generalist. Reporting into the HR Director this is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing business, where you will lead on everything day-to-day within the HR function. This position requires an in-depth understanding of HR practices and the ability to handle complex employee relations issues.

Below is an overview of the key responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with Managers, working proactively to drive high performance within the teams
  • Managing ER cases in a fair and consistent manner
  • Managing a small team of 2
  • Supporting Managers with recruitment, onboarding and internal succession planning
  • Guiding Managers through the performance management process
  • Providing coaching and training to Managers
  • Review of HR policy and process
  • Producing reports on HR metrics
  • Putting together internal communications for employees

This is a true generalist role where you will gain a huge amount of exposure to all areas of HR. The successful candidate for this role will have considerable experience working in HR, be able to demonstrate a proven track record in building effective working relationships with Managers, and will have excellent employment law knowledge.

Please note that some travel (approximately 1 day per week) will be required in this role.
