Are you passionate about engineering, design, and manufacturing? We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of electro/mechanical and electro/pneumatic products that serve both national and international markets.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to produce and validate designs for new and existing products, taking projects from concept through to production.

  • Engage in a varied work environment that includes office work, hands-on activities in workshops, and occasional on-site visits.

  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of product offerings by embracing new and emerging technologies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Passion & Experience: A strong enthusiasm for engineering, design, and manufacturing with hands-on experience or a solid understanding of engineering and design principles (e.g., fasteners, materials, coatings).

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Solidworks and/or Autodesk Inventor is essential. Experience in designing for manufacture—including machining, fabrication, casting, and injection moulding—is required.

  • Beneficial Knowledge: Familiarity with electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems is a plus, as is a basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.

  • Qualifications: A relevant HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Design is preferred. Outstanding candidates with significant practical experience will also be considered.

  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, a collaborative team player, eager to learn, and comfortable working across diverse environments (office, workshop, and on-site).
