We are seeking Mechanical Fitters (Fabricator) for an ongoing contract position in Stockport, Cheshire.
The hourly pay is £19 PAYE or £25 Umbrella, with enhanced overtime rates available.
Candidates are expected to have practical fitting experience in a heavy manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Key responsibilities include fitting and fabricating aluminium materials using jigs and fixtures, as well as interpreting drawings and work instructions.
Successful candidates must also be able to pass a DBS check.

We are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitters (Fabricator) based in Stockport, Cheshire.
This is going to be an on-going contract position with the possibility of going permanent down the line.
The hourly rate will be either 19 PAYE per hour or 25 Umbrella per hour + enhanced overtime rates.

Key responsibilities:

To fit/fabricate aluminium material using jigs and fixtures in line with fabrication procedures
To use drawings and work instructions to complete all tasks
To use hand tools and the appropriate measuring instruments to the task

Key skills required:

Practical fitting experience in a heavy manufacturing or fabrication environment
Must be able to pass a DBS check if successful
