Due to increased activity my client, an award winning financial services company, currently seek a talented Junior Claims Administrator to join their friendly team. Working alongside a team of Claims Handlers primarily working on Income Protection and Life policies, your role will involve supporting the claims process and duties will include:

  • Being an initial point of contact for policy holders wishing to make a claim.
  • Recording details of the claim in order that a digital claim file can be set up, ensuring accurate records of the claim are maintained through to settlement.
  • Liaising with policy holders in order to collect all necessary information regarding the claim such as medical evidence etc.
  • Chasing outstanding information
  • Reviewing the claims team e-mail in-box
  • Interpreting and communicating decisions from the Claims Handlers and issuing appropriate correspondence to policy holders.
  • Answering policy holder queries / questions via phone and e-mail.
  • Assisting with the processing of payments.

Applicants will be educated to GCSE standard having passed English and Maths at C or above. Previous office / administration experience is preferable along with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise your workload whilst maintaining a high degree of service.

***please note that for training (approx. 3 months) you will be expected in the office everyday, after which this will drop to 3 days per week***
