A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the motor insurance industry for an experienced FNOL Claims Handler to join a growing business in the Stockport area. This company is seeking a full-time Claims Handler to join their specialist team, with a competitive salary and benefits package, including a commission incentive scheme and flexible paid holidays. The ideal candidate will have claims handling experience or experience within the motor industry/motor insurance industry.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling non-fault accident claims, making and receiving calls, and taking all necessary claims details. They will review images of damage, determine liability, and arrange for vehicle recovery, repairs, and replacement credit hire. The role requires a confident communicator with excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities of the FNOL Claims Handler:

• Taking inbound calls relating to new and existing claims
• Taking inbound calls from third party insurers and service providers
• Making outbound calls relating to new claims and completing FNOL
• Making outbound calls in relation to existing claims to clients, service providers and third party insurance companies where necessary
• Arranging services such as collection of clients vehicle, credit hire, repairs

Required knowledge and experience for the FNOL Claims Handler role:

• Good technical knowledge and ideally have experience of claims handling/motor claims handling
• Keen eye for detail, possessing exceptional organisation and administrative skills
• Credit hire experience desirable but not essential
