About the Firm

A well-established and highly respected firm of Insolvency Practitioners in Stockport is seeking a Graduate Trainee or IVA Administrator looking to develop their career in corporate insolvency. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and train towards becoming a Corporate Insolvency Administrator, with full support towards professional qualifications.

The Role

As a Graduate Trainee / IVA Administrator, you will be provided with full training to transition into corporate insolvency. You will work closely with experienced professionals, assisting in the administration of corporate insolvency cases such as Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs), Administrations, and Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the management of corporate insolvency cases, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Supporting investigations into company financial affairs, assets, and liabilities
  • Preparing reports, statutory documentation, and creditor correspondence
  • Liaising with company directors, creditors, and stakeholders
  • Assisting with asset realisation and financial distributions
  • Maintaining case records and progressing cases efficiently
  • Learning and applying insolvency legislation and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
  • A finance, accounting, business, or related degree (for graduate applicants) OR experience in personal insolvency (IVA administration) looking to transition into corporate insolvency
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Must live within a commutable distance of Stockport
  • A genuine interest in insolvency and career progression in the industry
