Insurance Executive

Sewell Wallis are seeking a dedicated and proactive Insurance Executive to assist and support the Head of Insurance in delivering this successful Group's insurance strategy. This role involves managing the day-to-day administration of the Group's corporate insurance portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with insurance, either in-house or with an insurance company, and be familiar with property insurance.

What will you be doing?

• Support the Head of Insurance in delivering the Group's insurance strategy alongside key property and corporate stakeholders.
• Seek and provide high-quality information and support promptly and accurately.
• Administer the Group's insurance policies and respond to information requests from individual teams efficiently.
• Assist in renewing the Group's annual corporate insurance program, allocating premiums within the business.
• Collate accurate and timely information requested by insurers, brokers and third parties regarding insurance queries, notifications and ongoing claims.
• Provide claims and risk management data to the asset management teams as required.
• Ensure all data/documents are input into relevant systems and databases following company processes and procedures.
• Maintain an excellent working knowledge of all relevant company systems and databases to ensure efficient operation.
• Drive and maintain the disclosure of risk information to insurers to help the business meet their disclosure and Duty of Fair Presentation duties in accordance with the Insurance Act.

What skills are we looking for?

• 3 years+ relevant experience in insurance.
• Studying for or passed the Level 2 Foundation Insurance Test (FIT) of the Chartered Insurance Institute is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to maintain focus and work calmly under pressure, multi-task, be dedicated, and proactive.
• Highly motivated and willing to learn.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for seeking or imparting technical information.
• Proficient with all main applications in the MS Office environment.
