Adviser Support Administrator

£23,500-£24,000 DOE

Our Client has one of the largest and most respected teams of Independent Financial Advisers in the Northwest and Nationwide. They are a service-oriented organisation where the client is at the centre of everything they do. With clients ranging from individuals to blue chip corporates, they ensure that the advice and service they deliver is right all the time. They currently have an open position for an Advisor Support Administrator to join their team.

What’s in it for you?

  • Hybrid working, upon completion of your probation period. Set days in the office will then be agreed with your manager, this will be 50% working in the office 50% at home.

Key Responsibilties:

  • Managing the review service cycle from start to finish
  • Triggering service cases on the in-house system
  • Communicating with clients to arrange their annual/6 monthly review
  • Preparing a review pack before the meeting is due to take place, including:

Preparing a valuation

Checking compliance documents are up to date and on file

Checking Expression of Wishes are applicable and on file

  • Checking if ISA allowances are applicable and noting any remaining allowance
  • Dealing with the LOA process, sending off Letters of authority/appointment and retrieving information on the policies and distributing to advisers.
  • Cleansing the client record on the in-house system (including their plans, assets, liabilities, and personal information) before sending an invite to our online client portal
  • Attending client meetings with your advisers where possible
  • Taking notes during client meetings and preparing file notes afterwards on the adviser’s behalf
  • Preparing/sending paperwork directly to clients on behalf of your adviser
  • Managing the 'change of adviser’ process (Where clients have moved from advisers internally, you will communicate with your teams and providers to ensure the in-house system is updated as well as the platforms)
  • Communicating with and problem solving any issues clients may have with registering/ logging in to their online portal
  • Cover receptionist duties such as post, phone calls, greeting clients and dealing with third party suppliers.
  • Ad-Hoc data projects

What we’re looking for :

  • At least one year’s experience working in the financial services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Efficiency, accuracy & attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and willing to take the initiative
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt and successfully multitask
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • IO experience would be desirable
  • Knowledge of pensions and Investments
