About The Role:

The company looking for an experienced Shop Fitter / Joiner to join their team for national projects, which will often require staying away from home. This role involves working across a variety of client sites with a high standard of quality and precision. Occasional work in their manufacturing facility is also required for preparation and custom joinery work.

Due to the nature of their clients, this position requires an individual who can pass a DBS check and possesses a valid CSCS card.

This is a PAYE position and candidates must live within a 1-hour commutable distance from Stockport.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:

  • Suspended Ceilings: Installation, repair, and finishing of suspended ceilings in commercial, and other environments.
  • Joinery and Carpentry Work: Performing detailed joinery tasks, including cabinetry, doors, trim, and custom woodwork.
  • Decorative and Finishing Work: Completing high-quality decoration, including painting and finishing work.
  • Flooring Installation: Skilled in laying floor tiles, ensuring a high standard of installation and finish.
  • Manufacturing Preparation: Ability to complete occasional manufacturing-based tasks to prepare components for site installations.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and professional work environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Candidate Requirements:

  • CSCS Card: Must hold a valid CSCS card.
  • DBS Check: Required to pass a DBS check due to the sensitive nature of some client environments.
  • Location: Must be able to easily commute to our manufacturing facility in Bredbury, Stockport
  • Travel Requirement: Willingness to work nationally and stay away from home as required for the duration of each project, all fully expensed.
  • Experience: Proven background in shop fitting, joinery, and interior finishing with a versatile skill set.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, adapting to a variety of job sites and project scopes.
