Our Stockport division is looking to recruit a Paint Line Operative to join our team and work on our automated powder coating plant for bulk production and one off prototypes with our multi spray / auto technology
Hours:
40 hours per week
Mon-Thurs 7.00am 4.30pm & Fri 7.00am 11.00am .Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
- As a Paint Line Operative you would need to prepare parts for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and hanging parts on racks.
- Assist in loading and unloading parts from the coating booths or oven.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including cleaning tools and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain supplies such as masking materials, cleaning agents, and other necessary items.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Help in inspecting coated parts for quality and assist in reworking any defective items.
- Perform general labouring tasks as needed to support production operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in powder coating or metal Pre-Treatment would be beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- As a Paint Line Operator a good physical stamina, as the role involves standing, lifting, and moving parts throughout the day.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- A Driving licence would be preferrable
