About: My client has partnered with Reed Specialist Recruitment to help them find a Legal Advisor to join them on a 6 month FTC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and support across various areas including UK company law, employment law, contract law, charity law, anti-fraud, terrorism, and bribery laws.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage regulatory and compliance requirements and processes both in the UK and internationally.
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level with a legal background in the UK, ideally as a solicitor with PQE commensurate to the role.
  • Previous experience in a legal and compliance environment with knowledge and experience in two or more of the following areas: UK company law, employment law, contract law, charity law, anti-fraud, terrorism, and bribery laws.
  • Demonstrable experience liaising with regulatory authorities and advising on and managing regulatory and compliance requirements and processes in the UK and internationally.
  • Computer literate and competent with the MS Office package.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic or Urdu is desirable.
