Our client, a leading food & drinks manufacturer is urgently looking for an Operational Excellence Lead to proactively deliver world class manufacturing operations to the site, ensuring that it is aligned to achieve profitable growth and has a standardised approach to Continuous Improvement.

On Offer

  • Salary will be circa £50 000 + Bonus 
  • 25 holidays + 8 bank holidays
  • The role will be based onsite in the Leicestershire area

Key responsibilities

  • Support the establishment of a continuous Improvement culture by reducing non-value adding activities across the site and wider business.
  • Work closely with the Team Manager's to ensure the ongoing sustainability of Lean tools on site - ensuring that skills levels are maintained, and benefits realised.
  • Support the communication around Lean processes and results across the site.
  • Support the site's Lean roll out and ensure that it is consistent with the overall Excellence approach

Candidate requirements:

  • A qualification in Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering or equivalent will be preferred.
  • At least to 3 to 5 years Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or Lean implementation experience within a food or drinks manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a demonstrated effective team player
