Our Client:

Innova Search is proudly partnered with an Engineering Company that manufactures, supplies, installs, maintains, and designs specialist equipment for some of the largest Defence and Aerospace companies around the world.

The Role:

The role is based in the Quality department which handles all things Quality, Processand Testing. You will be working alongside a number of internal and external Engineers on various projects.

You will play an integral part in investigating and responding to non-conformances, and data analysis as well as developing, and maintaining standard worksheets. You will directly assist the Quality Manager in maintaining calibration equipment and devices, carry out daily calibration checks, ensure company approvals remain in place (ISO14001, Nadcap) as well as carrying out internal and external audits.

As a key member of the quality team, you may be required to work offsite and act up in the absence of the Quality Manager providing a range of quality reports or other updates to the senior leadership team as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Aerospace / other highly regulated industry experience in a QE role
  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes (preferably aerospace sheet metal or assembly)

Expertise in:

  • AS9100 FAIR collation/review/approval
  • Hosting external process audits, carrying out internal product audits
  • Experience in environmental accreditation (ISO14001) is advantageous
  • Demonstrated use of generic QA tools
  • Problem-solving / high energy / proactive work ethic essential
