Our client is looking for an ambitious Production Planner to join their dynamic team. You will work 9am - 5pm FULL TIME ON SITE

About the role:

The role will be positioned within the buying and estimating teams and work autonomously with the rest of the team to ensure maintenance of stock levels and supply goods on time for their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to coordinate production work flow.
  • Monitor production progress, anticipate delays, and implement solutions to meet deadlines.
  • Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock and ensure smooth production flow.
  • Track production performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all operations comply with health & safety and quality control standards.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and minimise downtime.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in Warehouse or Production environment
  • Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, inventory management, and scheduling techniques.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Proficient in production planning software and MS Office.
  • Experience with manufacturing machinery or technology is a plus.
