We’re hiring for a Logistics Coordinator to join a global distribution leader at their modern site in Stockport.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods across the UK and Europe, liaising with third-party warehouses, and managing compliance with import and export regulations.

What will you be doing as a Logistics Coordinator?

  • Assisting with import and export documentation, including customs clearances
  • Coordinating the movement of goods from third-party warehouses
  • Managing compliance with shipping regulations and record-keeping
  • Raising invoices, customer orders, delivery notes, and certificates of analysis
  • Collaborating with suppliers and customers to ensure timely deliveries
  • Overseeing stock management and general administrative duties
  • Booking transport and ensuring all deliveries are pre-arranged with customers
  • Liaising with team members across sales, purchasing, and logistics to meet deadlines effectively

What do you need?

  • Experience in importing/exporting chemicals
  • Experience in logistics across air, sea, and road (UK/EU movements)
  • Strong knowledge of imports/exports
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and writing skills
