Overview:Our client is looking for a full-time Procurement Manager to join their Facilities Management (FM) team. Reporting directly to the Head of FM, this role is vital for shaping and implementing procurement strategies that streamline their supply chain, minimise risks, and align with business objectives. Our client has huge growth ambitions and available capital to invest in the market to grow the business beyond it's current capacity.Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and establish a supply chain that effectively meets the operational demands and overarching requirements of the business, including sourcing new suppliers within geographic regions that align with the company's values and objectives.- Conduct thorough supplier vetting in accordance with procurement policy guidelines and necessary accreditations to ensure compliance and quality service delivery.- Manage and maintain an approved supplier database for the Facilities Management (FM) team and the broader organisation.- Participate in KPI meetings with the FM team to ensure the supply chain complies with tender specifications and service level agreements.- Develop and implement strategies to address any performance deficiencies within the supply chain, while closely monitoring progress towards desired outcomes.- Develop and spearhead procurement strategies and a comprehensive procurement plan that encompasses all aspects of service delivery.- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Facilities Management (FM) team regarding the procurement timeline and strategies to maximize value from current supplier relationships.- Assess supply requirements and collaborate with the broader Facilities Management (FM) team to achieve objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and policy alignment.- Prepare tender documents, including specifications, service level agreements, and Invitation to Tender (ITT), in anticipation of launching tenders in the marketplace.

Person Specification:- Proven experience in managing and procuring both soft and hard services (e.g., landscaping, security, cleaning, fabric maintenance, and mechanical & electrical services).- Prior experience in a procurement role is essential.- Familiarity with customer service initiatives.- Solid understanding of health and safety legislation, particularly regarding service provider accreditation requirements.- Experience in drafting comprehensive service specifications.- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.- Strong and empathetic leadership abilities.- Practical and solution-oriented mindset.- Proficient in IT skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment.Desirable Requirements:- A recognised qualification in Procurement (e.g., Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Management).- Previous experience in a managing agent or client-side role within the real estate sector.- Knowledge of commercial leases and contract law.
