My client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team.

We're looking for a Warehouse Manager who will play a crucial role in our operations, leading a team of dedicated warehouse operatives to ensure our packing and warehouse processes run smoothly and efficiently.

- Contract Type: Temp to Perm
- Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
- Working Pattern: Full Time
- Hours: Monday to Thursday - 6am to 4pm; Friday - 6am to 2pm
- Team: Lead a fantastic team of 10 warehouse operatives
- Location: Stockport
Your RoleAs our Warehouse Manager, you will:
- Oversee daily packing and warehouse performance while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Calculate flour types and destination bins to maintain stock levels and meet customer needs.
- Create packing lists and coordinate loading of vehicles with batch codes.
- Implement and monitor safe systems of work and standard operating procedures.
- Utilise real-time data to enhance packing efficiency with the engineering department.
- Conduct daily team huddles to discuss achievements and plans.
- Manage customer returns and conduct non-conformance investigations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining accurate records and updating the database daily.
- Ensuring adherence to food safety and health & safety procedures.
- Engaging in continuous improvement processes for packing operations.
- Conducting staff appraisals and developing training records.
- Acting as a point of contact for quality, HACCP, and health & safety meetings.
What We're Looking For:
- A self-driven, positive, and enthusiastic individual!
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Knowledge of BRC standards, Lean Manufacturing techniques, and ERP systems.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Forklift Truck Licence, IOSH Managing Safely, L2 HACCP, and L3 Food Safety are desirable
- Experience dealing with grievances and conducting root cause analysis is essential
