As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team and play a key role in keeping our production facilities running smoothly and efficiently.

The Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all machinery and equipment within the manufacturing plant. This role is pivotal to maintaining production schedules and minimizing downtime in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and production lines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
  • Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to continuously improve the efficiency of production equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role within an FMCG or similar fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in fault diagnosis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Ideally, you will hold a relevant engineering qualification (City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent).
  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
