Your new companyA leading manufacturing company within the defence sector is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. Your new roleSupport the manufacturing asset and equipment schedule to ensure optimal performance through quality maintenance activities.
- Transition from reactive to planned preventative maintenance.
- Maintain and repair CNC equipment and tooling.
- Diagnose and repair PLCs, Inverters, and Drives.
- Adhere to Agility Maintenance plans.
- Analyse failures to create preventative maintenance regimes.
- Record accurate feedback on tasks and safety concerns.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance during breakdowns.
- Support maintenance strategy development and report defects.
What you'll need to succeed
- 18th edition wiring qualification (HNC) or equivalent, preferably electrical bias.
- Experience in a modern lean manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of PLCs, Inverters, and Drives.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
