A growing Installations and maintenance business based close to Stockport are keen to hire an Administrator to join their dynamic and rapidly expanding team!

You will be responsible for supporting the growing demand for tender submission, presentations, proposals and documents. The role will be part of the business development team and we are keen to find ideally a recent graduate, with a blend of marketing and writing skills, that wants to learn and develop within a business.The ideal person will be creative, forward thinking with a passion for delivering growth and creating impactful bids.The company have created a development programme and offer excellent training and enhanced holidays and are keen to hire people who are keen to work well from initiative and are customer service focused.What will you be doing as an Administrator / Bid Writing Administrator / Marketing Administrator?

  • Supporting the business development team to create compelling proposals that stand out from the competition
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely, avoiding jargon and ensuring the message is easily understood
  • Crafting compelling narratives that persuade evaluators of the bid's value.
  • Ensuring accuracy in all written content, including technical details and financial information
  • Identifying potential issues and proposing effective solutions within the bid
  • Meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple bids simultaneously and working independently
  • Keeping track of all bid documents, requirements, and deadlines.
  • Working with various departments and stakeholders to gather necessary information and approvals
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Helping to manage social media and supporting with creating posts to support with promotions etc
  • Dealing with compliance for health and safety accreditations
  • Developing creative and innovative approaches to meet client needs
  • Using software tools such as Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint, Word and Excel, and any specialized bid management software

  • Someone keen to learn and develop within a business
  • The ideal person will be creative, forward thinking with a passion for writing
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team and also independently
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational and prioritising skills
  • Ability to work well from initiative and make decisions and consult as appropriate
  • Excellent software skills such as Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel
