About the Role

Joining our team as an Operations Manager, you will ensure that workflow is efficient and cost-effective, allowing for the smooth everyday running of the departments and ensuring that KPIs are met, key objectives are reached and maintained.

Managing the calibration and repair activity within the branch, training, coaching, and mentoring the engineering departments to ensure that they deliver a first-class service to all customers.

Essential Skills

  • Technical qualifications such as degree, HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above are desirable.
  • Extensive calibration knowledge and UKAS certification preferred.
  • Experienced line manager with performance management expertise.
  • Change management - proven experience in implementing & driving change to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Team player; maintain effective working relationships at all levels throughout all UK branches.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Proactive approach towards key decision making for the business in line with UK strategy.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and internal software systems.
