Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee, plan, and support the daily tasks of the engineering team, focusing on maintenance, service, and troubleshooting of material handling products.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional engineering services, ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Goal Setting & Strategy: Develop and implement team goals to improve productivity and service quality.
  • Documentation: Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities are completed and documented on time.
  • Compliance: Maintain adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams to drive improvements and address engineering challenges.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Engineering & Customer Service: Strong skills in both engineering and customer service, with a solid foundation in problem-solving.
  • Welding Techniques: Experience in welding is highly desirable.
  • Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communication skills and a leadership mindset.
  • Qualifications: City and Guilds in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar experience. Diagnostic computer skills and experience in welding processes are important.
  • IT Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license required.
