About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher at this SEMH school, you will work with secondary-aged pupils, many of whom are working at Key Stage 2 or 3 levels in literacy and numeracy. Your role will involve creating engaging and supportive learning environments, where each child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and support children with SEMH needs.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Foster positive relationships with students and help them reach their potential.
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
- Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of individual learners.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A passion for teaching and supporting children with SEMH needs.
- Experience as a Primary Teacher in SEMH or mainstream settings.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
