The School and Role 

We are seeking a dedicated and creative Primary Teacher to join our team at a Stockport school. Our curriculum has a unique and innovative approach, and we are looking for someone who can bring their expertise and enthusiasm to our Year 2 class.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of all areas of the curriculum, including Life Events, Computing, and Team Games. They will also have a creative and engaging teaching style and be able to create a stimulating and interactive classroom environment. Additionally, they should have fresh ideas for assessing and monitoring progress, ensuring that each child receives the best possible education.

Requirements 

To be considered for the Primary Teacher position, you must meet the following criteria: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, although NQTS will also be considered.
  • Recent experience teaching Year 2 or a strong understanding of Key Stage 1 and primary education.
  • A positive and creative attitude towards learning and development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A desire to work in a school that values continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Early Career Teacher (ECT) status (or working towards it) with the ambition to become an outstanding teacher.
