Mortgage Administrator Stockport £26,000 + bonus  Are you an experienced mortgage administrator looking for a change? Do you want the opportunity develop your career with a forward thinking brokerage? An established mortgage brokerage is looking for an experienced Mortgage Administrator to support their growing broker team. You'll be working closely with Mortgage Advisors and assisting them with their work. This will involve speaking to clients, solicitors and lenders ensuring the overall process is smooth for all parties. This is an integral role for the business and one which can grow with the expansion of the team. You'll gain a huge amount of knowledge within specialist mortgage lending and you'll be helping people every day.  Key responsibilities: 
  • Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across the business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and our external partners.
  • Arranges appointments and manages adviser diaries to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Shows effective task management skills. Instigates and leads pipeline/case management meeting with advisers and is passionate about customer outcomes.
 

Key skills required: 

  • Displays excellent understanding and implementation of processes – e.g., document collection process.
  • Shows excellent understanding and implementation of file quality requirements – e.g., AML & Data Protection requirements.
  • Completes CPD and attends all training/development sessions where required.
  • Displays excellent understanding and implementation of the appointment booking process.  
  • Displays excellent knowledge of the customer journey from initial contact to completion and supports both the customer and adviser through this.
  • Shows excellent understanding of the pipeline/case management process and shows willingness to take ownership of this to produce positive outcomes for both the customer and the business.
