Are you a passionate and dedicated music teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire young musicians? We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our team as a Music Teacher on a maternity cover basis.
About the Role:As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality music lessons to students across various age groups. You will be expected to foster a love of music, develop students’ musical skills, and contribute to the wider musical life of the school, including concerts, performances, and extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:-
Plan and deliver dynamic and inclusive music lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.

Teach a range of musical styles and instruments, encouraging creativity and expression.

Prepare students for performances, concerts, and school events.

Support and contribute to the school’s extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, ensembles, or orchestras.

Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the school’s music provision.

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE or equivalent) or relevant experience in music education.

Strong musical proficiency and ability to teach a variety of musical styles and instruments.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Passion for music education and the ability to inspire students.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
