As a forward-thinking and ambitious company, they are seeking a passionate self-starter with Health & Safety experience to join their team.Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company has adequate and effective SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality) resources and Management Systems in place to support continual improvement.
  • Maintain accreditation to key management system standards (e.g., ISO9001, ISO14001) and assist with the accreditation to new and emerging standards as required by the Board.
  • Improve the compliance culture by managing and mitigating risk, ensuring Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems are implemented consistently across the organization.
  • Support managers to maintain safe, healthy, and compliant systems by providing expert advice, coaching, and practical support, while identifying SHEQ training needs.
  • Carry out audits to evaluate the effectiveness of SHEQ Management Systems and procedures, recommending and implementing improvements.
  • Oversee the production and presentation of reports, briefings, and training to various levels, including Directors.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate values, contributing to the overall strategic goals of the organization.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Health & Safety, Environment, and Quality Manager in a relevant organization with a strong track record of improving safety, health, and environmental performance.
  • Experience with budgetary responsibilities and the production of high-level reports.
  • Ability to lead and manage small teams effectively.
  • Confident in working with Board Members and Directors, with strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with BSiEntropy System would be a distinct advantage.
  • MUST be NEBOSH accredited
  • Qualified IS9001 Auditor
