Trade Counter Operations Co-ordinator


Salary: 30k, Full time, Monday -Thursday 8am -5pm & Friday 8am -3pm

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to the Finance Director for overall role responsibilities.
  • Direct day-to-day reporting to the Trade Centre Operations Manager.

Job Overview:

As a Trade Counter Operations Co-ordinator, you will be a key part of a fast-paced trade counter team, ensuring excellent customer service and the smooth processing of orders and requests. You will liaise with internal departments, handle customer queries, process sales, and manage financial transactions to support efficient trade counter operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders efficiently, working closely with the O&S Customer Service, Order Processing, and wider O&S teams.
  • Handle customer queries via face-to-face, phone, and electronic communications.
  • Input sales orders/quotes and promote the use of the online ordering app.
  • Collaborate with the Benburb Finance team to manage invoicing, credits, and outstanding product collections.
  • Process and allocate cash & credit card payments, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
  • Work with the Benburb Transport team and external couriers to coordinate deliveries and collections.
  • Update the CRM system with customer interactions.
  • Maintain an organised and welcoming showroom/trade counter area.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks with HR, HSEQ, and IT teams as required.
  • Support the team with holiday and break cover on the trade counter and warehouse.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as requested by management.
