Role Details and Benefits

Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Year 2 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum.
  • Tailor teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and close knowledge gaps.
  • Monitor and analyse student progress to maintain high attainment levels.
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, built on trust and respect.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and the wider school community.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 2.
  • A detailed CV covering your employment history, with any gaps explained.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide suitable references.
