Lower KS2 Primary Teacher - Year 3

Tradewind are recruiting! KS2 Primary school teacher needed in Stockport. Initial temporary contract starting ASAP with potential to lead to permanent contract for the right candidate.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to a class of enthusiastic Year 3 children. The school boasts great outdoor space which promotes learning to take place outside of the classroom. Free parking on-site for staff.

The ideal Primary Teacher will have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 and will be able to use a range of teaching strategies to KS2 children.

The school has recently been inspected and has retained its grading of "Good". Ofsted commented that "Pupils listen attentively to their teachers and work well together". It was also documented that "Learning is very rarely disturbed by any instances of poor behaviour". The youngest children show very positive attitudes to their learning.

Ofsted also reported that "Staff are proud to be part of such a tight-knit school community. They feel that leaders consider their workload and well-being in their decision-making".
